About this tour
Hilltoptreks picks your group up from your accommodation, the port or the airport in Dublin and spends the day in County Wicklow, the 'Garden of Ireland'. It is priced per group for up to eight people, and you shape the day yourself, so it suits families and friends with different interests.
A typical day includes the option of Powerscourt Gardens (entry extra, at a reduced rate), lunch at a café or rural pub chosen around any dietary needs, a drive through Wicklow Mountains National Park, a photo stop at Lough Tay, the 'Guinness Lake' used as a film location, and a guided visit to St Kevin's 6th-century monastic site at Glendalough with time to walk to the Upper Lake.
Travel is by air-conditioned minibus or limo with a qualified local guide, over about eight hours. Meals, drinks and the Powerscourt entry fee are not included.
