Privacy policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use IrelandDayTours.ie, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.
Who we are
IrelandDayTours.ie is run by Dublin 360, Dublin, Ireland, which is the data controller for this website. For any privacy question or request, email hello@irelanddaytours.ie.
We compare day tours sold by booking partners. We don’t operate the tours, and we don’t take bookings or payments on this site.
What we collect, and why
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
We show ads from Google AdSense, which helps keep the site free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud. With your consent, they may also personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
On your first visit, a consent message from Google (a certified consent management platform) asks for your choice. Advertising cookies that need consent are only set if you agree. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the button below. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for things like frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can read more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage ad personalisation in Google’s My Ad Center.
Booking links
Tour listings link to booking partners: Viator, GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Dubtours (and, over time, other operators). These are affiliate links: the address includes our partner ID so the partner can pay us a commission if you book. We don’t receive your payment details. When you click through, you are on the partner’s website, which sets its own cookies and handles your booking under its own privacy policy.
Partners send us reports of bookings made through our links so we can be paid. Dubtours bookings are made on a booking page Dubtours runs for us, so we may see the details of those bookings (such as your name and the tour booked) to handle commission and help with any questions about them.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in earning commission and running the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider, Hostinger, records basic technical details when a page is requested: your IP address, the page, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a short period before being deleted.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts
The site’s font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which see your IP address. Google says it doesn’t use this to build profiles or for advertising. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing the site consistently (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you email us
We use your email address and message only to reply to you, and delete them when they’re no longer needed, at the latest two years after our last contact. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
What we don’t do
There are no accounts, forms or newsletters on this site, and we don’t use analytics tracking. We don’t sell your personal data.
Who receives data
- Google (Google Ireland Ltd): advertising and fonts, as described above.
- Hostinger: hosts the website and its server logs.
- Booking partners: only when you click through to them, under their own privacy policies.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
- data portability;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email hello@irelanddaytours.ie. We’ll reply within one month. Most data from advertising cookies is held by Google, not us; you can manage it through your consent choices and Google’s settings linked above.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s data protection authority, or the authority where you live.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
