The suggested route visits Kerry Bog Village, Cahergall stone fort and the Valentia Island telegraph site, then climbs Geokaun Mountain for views of the Skelligs. After lunch time in Portmagee you can visit the Kerry Cliffs, call at Skelligs Chocolate and Ballinskelligs Castle, and continue through Waterville and Sneem.
The return leg crosses Moll's Gap and stops at Ladies View and Torc Waterfall in Killarney National Park. Bottled water is supplied; entry to Kerry Bog Village, Geokaun Mountain, Derrynane House and the Kerry Cliffs is extra.
