About this tour
Wild Atlantic Tours' Kerry-born guide collects you from your Killarney accommodation for a half-day private tour of the town's best-known sights. The Mercedes V-Class seats up to six, so it suits families or small groups, and the route can be customised to take in other local places.
The loop begins at Ladies View over the Lakes of Killarney, then a short walk to Torc Waterfall. You get about an hour at Muckross House, a furnished 19th-century mansion whose gardens are free to explore, before stopping at Ross Castle, a 15th-century tower house on Lough Leane. A final stop on the lakeshore looks out to Innisfallen Island, and the drive back passes Aghadoe.
Bottled water is provided. Tours inside Muckross House and Ross Castle are optional and paid for at each site.
