About this tour

Tour the Beara Peninsula with a local, experienced driver, guide, and genealogist. Travel along very narrow, off-the-beaten-path roads and witness incredible scenery not many visitors get to experience. With endless photo opportunies it is recommended to bring your camera along to capture special moments along the way.

As a genealogist, your guide will take you to the seat of the O'Sullivan clan and the copper mines museum in Allihies, from where many Irish emigrated to Butte, Montana. Learn about the unique culture that exists in the area through local stories.
