About this tour
Wild Atlantic Tours runs this private full-day loop of the Dingle Peninsula from Killarney for up to six people. It goes out by Inch Beach and Slea Head and returns over the Conor Pass and through Tralee Bay, so you see both sides of the peninsula.
After a stroll on Inch Beach and a drive-through of Dingle town, the tour follows Slea Head Drive with views of the Blasket Islands, Coumeenoole Beach and a photo stop. At Kilmalkedar, one of the oldest monastic sites on the peninsula, you see the 12th-century church, an Ogham stone, a sundial and an alphabet stone. You then have about two hours in Dingle for lunch and a walk.
The return crosses the Conor Pass, with views over Dingle Bay and Tralee Bay, stops at Blennerville Windmill and ends with coffee at a historic hotel before arriving back in Killarney. Pickup is from accommodation within 10 km of Killarney, or a meeting point is arranged. The vehicle price makes it suitable for families and small groups. Bottled water is included; meals and optional entrance fees are not.
