About this tour
This tour leaves from outside the Kinlay Hostel on Merchants Road at 9:30am and heads west along Galway Bay, through Salthill and out into Connemara's lakes, bog and mountains.
There are photo stops at Screebe waterfall and Derryclare Lough, a break in Clifden, and a drive along the Sky Road for the views over the Atlantic islands.
The main stop is your choice: three hours at Kylemore Abbey and its Victorian walled garden (entry extra), or three hours in Connemara National Park, where you can climb Diamond Hill. The way back passes the Inagh Valley and the Connemara Giant.
